February 7, 2023  The Logan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session with the following members present  constituting a quorum oft the members thereof:  Jerry A. Sonnenberg Joseph A. McBride Mike Brownell Also present: Pamela Bacon Marilee Johnson Debbie Unrein Trae Miller Jeff] Rice  Chairman Commissioner Commissioner-Absent  Logan County Clerk & Recorder Logan County Public Information Officer Logan County Finance Logan County Economic Development Journal Advocate  Chairman Sonnenberg called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. and opened the meeting with the Pledge of Chairman Sonnenberg asked if there were any revisions for the agenda. Hearing none, Chairman Sonnenberg  Allegiance.  continued with consent agenda.  The Board continued with the Consent Agenda items:  Approval oft the Minutes oft the January 31,2023, meeting.  Acknowledge the receipt of Veteran' s Service Officer's] Monthly Report and Certification of Pay Report Acknowledge the receipt oft the Landfill Supervisor's report for the month of. January 2023. Consideration of the approval of an application for renewal ofal Fermented Malt Beverage On/Off premises liquor license on behalfofF& H Park and Recreation District for 443355 CR30 Fleming, Commissioner McBride moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner Sonnenberg seconded, and the  for the month of. January 2023.  Colorado. motion carried 2-0.  Chairman Sonnenberg continued with New Business:  Chairman Sonnenberg opened aj public hearing testimony phase of the meeting for Resolution 2023-2 redistricting and establishing boundaries of commissioner districts of Logan County in accordance with CRS Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no further public comments, left the public hearing testimony phase open through Chairman Sonnenberg opened aj public hearing testimony phase of the meeting for the purchase ofa 7-year Extended Warranty for the elevator located at 121 South 4th Street (Courthouse Annex) from Morning Star Elevator in the amount of $4,675 which will cover all labor and material charges for all repairs and maintenance on this equipment for seven years from the date of execution oft the warranty. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no  30-10-306.  Pamela Bacon Logan County Clerk explained the redistricting process to the board.  March 21, 2023, meeting.  public comments, closed the public hearing testimony phase.    Commissioner McBride moved to approve the purchase ofa 7-year Extended Warranty for the elevator located at1 121 South 4th Street (Courthouse Annex): from Morning Star Elevator in the amount of $4,675 which will cover all labor and material charges for all repairs and maintenance on this equipment for seven years from the date of execution oft the warranty and authorize the Chairman. Commissioner Sonnenberg seconded, and the  motion carried 2-0. Other Business  County Offices will be closed on Monday February 20, 2023, in observance of] President'sI Day.  The next regular meeting will be scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at the Logan County  Courthouse.
