Chairman Brownell added another county to the TANF purchase and asked ifthere were any other revisions for the agenda. Hearing none, Chairman Brownell continued with the Consent Agenda. The Board continued with the Consent Agenda items: Approval oft the Minutes of the April 2, 2024, meeting. Acknowledgement of the receipt oft the Treasurer's s report for the month of] March 2024. Acknowledgement oft the receipt of the Public Trustee's report for the first quarter of 2024. Acknowledgement oft the receipt ofthe Sheriff's Fee report for the month ofl March 2024. Acknowledgement oft the receipt oft the Landfill Supervisor's Report for the month of] March 2024. Acknowledge the receipt of the Clerk and Recorder's report for the month ofl March 2024. Commissioner McBride moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner Sonnenberg seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Chairman Brownell continued with Unfinished Business: Commissioner McBride moved to award the bid for the purchase ofa 2024 TANA Trash Compactor for the Logan County Landfill to Four Rivers Equipment. Commissioner Sonnenberg seconded, and the motion Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve a Contract Modification #2, Amendment #2 Construction Administration Bridge Replacement LOG93-60.5-243 between Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. (SEH) and Logan County which includes a contract end date extension from February 28, 2024, to May 31, 2024, additional cost for 2024 staffhourly rate increases, additional cost for increased expenses and additional costs carried 3-0. for materials testing with the following changes: Lodging with the change from $5,793 to $2,896.50 which is half. Mileage with the change from $3,6401 to $1,820 which is half. Vehicle hours change from $4561 to $228 which is half. These changes will reduce the amount of the additional contract by $4,944.50. Commissioner McBride Chairman Brownell recessed the meeting at 9:52 a.m. to obtain additional information regarding the Martin Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve of an agreement between Logan County and Martin Marietta Materials, LLC to mill and repave approximately (19) miles ofroads located within Logan County as per the seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Marietta Materials. Chairman Brownell called the meeting to order at 9:55 a.m. specifications. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Chairman Brownell continued with New Business: Consideration oft the approval of the following Logan County Lodging Tax Board Projects: Explore Magazine - $2,640. Bradford Rhea Tree Sculptures-$1,900. Heritage Festival - $1,300. Commissioner McBride moved to approve the Logan County Lodging Tax Board Project Explore Magazine in Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve the Logan County Lodging Tax Board Project Bradford Rhea Tree Sculptures in the amount of $1,900. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. Commissioner McBride moved to approve the Logan County Lodging Tax Board Project Heritage Festival in Commissioner McBride moved to approve the purchase and transfer OfTANF funds from Cheyenne County, Las Animas County and Montezuma County tol Logan County and allow the Chairman to sign. Commissioner Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve. Resolution 2024-12 approving modified user fees for the deposit ofsolid waste in the Logan County Landfill. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the: motion carried 3-0. Commissioner Sonnenberg moved to approve Resolution 2024-13 opposing the entry, transportation, employment, and settlement ofillegal immigrants in Logan County, Colorado.
